The Department of Chemistry deliver a high-quality research experience at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. We offer training for graduate, postgraduate and doctorate level and research and development in the chemical sciences with reference to ancient Vedas. We also participate in cross-discipline projects and courses with other departments and centres of various institutes, as well as provide empowering technologies for the private and government sectors.

The Department of Chemistry at Srimaharshi Research Institute of Vedic Technology (SRIVT) was founded in 2005. The Department of Chemistry is indispensable as a Centre of science as it provides the flair to realize living and non-living systems associated with ancient Vedic scripts at the molecular level. The faculties of the department are highly competent, intellectual and devoted. The faculties are well veterans in diverse fields of Chemistry and trained. The faculty members of our Department understand ancient Vedic scripts, extract and create new forms of scientific matter, and translate their innovative discoveries into beneficial products. The Department is well equipped with sophisticated research laboratories, Internet and library facilities which lead to pour innovative ideas to the students.

The Department of Chemistry is currently involved in a wide range of research signifying the classical Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Biological Chemistry coupled with emerging interdisciplinary disciplines such as Materials Chemistry and Nanotechnology. While most research activities within the department focus primarily on ancient vedic research, a number of efforts are also directed toward synthetic chemistry, nanotechnology, new energy sources and the environmental wellness. The sophisticated analytical lab in our department built up with reference to the state of art of chemical science has the ability to synthesize, interpret and understand the nature of molecules and their properties. As it is essential to advance the field of Material Chemistry at the fundamental level, our department provide state-of-the-art tools to design, synthesize, and evaluate new functional molecules for specific applications based on vedic science.
