Welcome to SRIVT

Srimaharshi Research Institute of Vedic Technology, famously known as SRIVT is a non-profit organization established in the year 2005 with an aim of unravelling the scientific and technical dimensions of Vedas and other ancient Indian scriptures. SRIVT’s main aim is to bridge the gap between Ancient Sciences with its modern counterparts enabling the scientists to explore the scientific perspective of Vedas. We have successfully fused Vedic Scholars and modern scientists onto a single platform giving them a higher chance of materializing the Science in the Vedas into discernible output.
SRIVT is the first Vedic Research institute to be recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. We are also the first Vedic research institute to be recognized as an external M.S/Ph.D. centre of IIT Madras, IIT Delhi and this gave us plethora of opportunities to conduct Research on Vedas with modern scientific tools. SRIVT also has Memorandum of understanding with Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL, a DRDO lab, Government of India), Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT, A CSIR Lab and Government of India), Hyderabad Central University and many other universities.
SRIVT has revered and renowned scientists and academicians in its Governing and Research council who guides the administrative and research works to be carried out from time to time enabling the institute to reach pinnacles in R&D on Vedas and set new goals to reach for.
SRIVT has completed 8 projects from both Government and private sectors worth of ₹ 422.58 Lakhs and has two ongoing projects. SRIVT has received many awards and rewards and recent being India Innovation Initiative (i3) award from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). SRIVT has patents and publications to its credit and has successfully transferred technology of manufacturing Nano Copper in large scale to M/S Aarshadhaatu Green Nanotechnologies India Pvt Ltd. Apart from these, SRIVT is actively working on developing metals and alloys for advanced warfare, bullet proof, shock absorbing and light weight vests and armour, dietary pills for nourishing pilots and soldiers on the war front, solar energy applications, paints for stealth vehicles that can revolutionize modern warfare and defence sector.
